Along with our keynotes, we offer these workshops:

peggy for webWorkshop #1: PEGGY PATENAUDE “All Is Well”
Life is messy. It is never 100% the way we want it to be. Many unwanted “interruptions” color our landscape and challenge our peace of mind. God, however, is present in every circumstance of our lives. When we accept what is, and remain open to grace, all is well.

sr bridget cropped for webWorkshop #2: SR. BRIDGET HAASE, O.S.U. “Walking the Path of Faith: Three Practices of the Abundant Life”
To live in the moment in praise of the God of Creation; to trust in the divine care of the God of our Redemption; to find inspiration by seeing our God everywhere…these are three practices of the abundant life. Join Ursuline Sister Bridget Haase as she shares how she learned these principles through serving in a feeding camp in the desert of Sudan; ministering to the paralyzed; journeying with her mother with Alzheimer’s disease; and struggling to accept her father’s suicide.   All these experiences led her to the belief that God daily creates us anew; mercifully redeems us;  and gently inspires us to faithfully walk the path of everyday life.

tomeo for webWorkshop #3: TERESA TOMEO “Extreme Makeover: Seeing Yourself through the Eyes of Christ”
In this inspiring presentation you’ll learn how Teresa’s extreme makeover was done not by a plastic surgeon or a home-improvement specialist you might see on TV, but by the great physician Himself, the Lord Jesus Christ. Teresa will share how the media and its influence have impacted her own life and will also provide seminar participants with the tools needed to makeover their media habits and positively impact the culture.

Workshop #4a: SR. YVETTE BELLEROSE, SR. MARY ANN, SR. JURGITA
“Many Ways to Pray”
(offered in the morning only)

This workshop will introduce you to two beautiful prayer methods that will deepen your relationship with the Lord. Sr. Yvette Bellerose, a sister of St. Anne and Sr. Mary Ann and Sr. Jurgita (Religious of the Assumption) will offer two different methods and allow you time to experience them. Sr. Yvette will present on Lectio Divina, the ancient method of praying with scripture while Srs. Mary and Jurgita will share with us the haunting chant prayers of Taize.
